After reading Chapter 1, The Sound of the Shell, create character profiles for the following characters:
- Ralph
- Piggy
- Jack.
You should use these 4 categories for each character:- Appearance
- Personality and behaviour
- Background
- Relationships with others.
Find quotations from the text that reveal things about each category, and make brief notes about what the quotation indicates about the character.
Use at least one page in your book for the profile of each character so there is plenty of room - we will add to the character profiles as we read.
Below is a template profile for Ralph, which you can use as a guide - you will notice that the 'appearance' category is filled out, to help you get started:
